We're ready to whisk you away for a day of adventure, Silverswift is a new (2006) luxury 29m catamaran designed with everything you need to experience an underwater world of colourful marine life in safety and comfort.  

Visit 3 sites at the Outer Barrier Reef and spend a leisurely 5 hours at play. Certified divers can enjoy up to 3 dives, with introductory divers able to do a second dive.

Adventure snorkellers can explore spectacular coral formations and underwater gardens awash with vibrantly coloured marine creatures.

Locations vary with the conditions however each site is chosen for visual impact, ecological diversity and the challenge of discovery (Milln, Flynn & Thetford reefs).

Onboard, your crew will encourage you to relax and enjoy the comfort of Silverswift with its full bar facilities, fresh water showers, airconditioning and a delicious lunch for hungry adventurers.

There's morning and afternoon tea as well and the spacious deck areas are just ideal for sharing a cold drink and tales of your adventure.

Coach departs accommodation for the Marlin Wharf Cairns

Coaches arrive at the Marlin Wharf and passengers board Silverswift. Tea, coffee and biscuits served until departure
 08.30 AM 
Depart Marlin Wharf for the trip to the Outer Barrier Reef. On the way, detailed certified and introductory dive briefings are given 
 09.50 AM  
Arrive at the first site. Divers gear up, while snorkellers listen to a site briefing by the snorkelling advisor. Get ready to view the beauty of this natural wonder! 
 11.15 AM  
Silverswift departs for second reef location. Option for introductory divers and certified divers to do their second dive. Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel. 
 12:30 PM 
After the water activities, enjoy a tropical hot and cold lunch [included in the fare] served in the air conditioned cabin. The lunch includes fresh prawns, pasta, meats, salads and fruit. There are bar facilities available where you can purchase drinks.

Silverswift departs for third reef location. Snorkellers are once again briefed as to the best areas to snorkel. Option for introductory divers and certified divers to do their third dive.

Afternoon tea is served.  
 2.45 PM  
All passengers to board vessel for count

Silverswift commences return to Cairns

Silverswift arrives at Cairns

Destination: 
Outer Reef sites visited by Silverswift include Thetford, Milln & Flynn Reefs.
Comfort & Size :
Silverswift’s capacity is 80 guests.The vessel has ample interior space (57 seats in A/C), seating on an upper deck for 22 people and sunbathing space. The back deck is very functional area designed for seating 34 people. 11 seats provided on the fore deck. The vessel has 3 toilets on the main deck and an additional 3 change rooms.

Dive & Snorkel Access:
Access to the water is from a large submerged platform at the rear of the boat, which is raised when the vessel is travelling. Guided snorkel tour by reef interpreter included at one reef site.

Boat: 
The vessel is a 29 metre catamaran, travelling at 32 knots, designed for diving and snorkelling. All snorkelling, swimming and diving is from the vessel.

Equipment:
Wetsuits are included in the ticket price, as our prescription masks. Aqualung / US Divers short and long wetsuits. 

Lunch:
A tropical buffet lunch, morning and afternoon tea will be served. The vessel operates a licensed bar.  

For guests staying in Cairns or the Northern Beaches, a coach transfer is available. Please advise your accommodation details when booking and a transfer time will be provided.
