Train: 1.4 km to station. From Spencer Street Station go 400 meters East along Bourke Street to William Street and catch tram 55 heading North, get off at stop 11, walk 200 meters West on Queensberry Street, turn right into Howard Street
 
Plane: 26 km to Melbourne Airport. About $43 to hostel in a taxi, $13 for Skybus to city (runs 24 hours)
with free bus transfer to hostel during day-time (check with driver).
