.Fraser Island 3 Day Exclusive Camping Safari

The Fraser Island 3 Day Exclusive Camping Adventure is a personalised advanced eco accredited 3-Day Safari providing passengers with the opportunity to explore areas not frequented by other tour companies. Travelling in very comfortable purpose built 4WD vehicles, this tour allows our guests ample time to hike, swim, and genuinely savour the treasures of Fraser Island. You can even catch your own fish for dinner!
Explore the peaceful northern regions of the Island. Highlights include Lake Wabby, Champagne Pools, Indian Head, Waddy Point, Eli Creek, The Coloured Sands and The Maheno Shipwreck.
Camp in luxury in our permanent tent village at Cathedral Beach featuring fabulous king beds and enjoy delicious meals. Your attentive guide will serve wine and beer with your evening meal, before whipping up a sticky date pudding for dessert.
Tours depart each Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and are inclusive of meals, linen, park fees and transfers.

Day 1

Transfers from Hervey Bay accommodation
Travel from the Urangan Boat Harbour to Fraser Island, crossing the beautiful Great Sandy Straits by ferry.
Explore the interior of Fraser Island as you travel to Lake Allom.
Picnic lunch at Lake Allom. Stroll around the lake and admire the resident turtles.
Visit spectacular Knifeblade Sandblow
Travel along 75 Mile Beach, visiting Maheno Shipwreck, Eli Creek and the Coloured Sands.
Dinner and overnight accommodation at Frasers at Cathedral Beach

Day 2

Breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach.
Explore the beautiful and peaceful northern regions of Fraser Island.
Visit Indian Head, Champagne Pools and Orchid Beach, admire the Island's abundant wildlife, flora and fauna.
Ample time to walk, photograph and swim.
Picnic lunch
Return to Frasers at Cathedral Beach by mid afternoon with time to relax, fish, hike or read.
BBQ dinner and overnight accommodation at Frasers at Cathedral Beach

Day 3

Breakfast at Frasers at Cathedral Beach
Travel south along 75 Mile Beach to Lake Wabby. Enjoy a morning of swimming, walking and relaxing at this unique barrage freshwater lake.
Drive to Happy Valley and dine on a tropical buffet lunch at Fraser Island Wilderness Retreat.

Departs Hervey Bay every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday at 8.25am
Returns between 5.30pm - 6.00pm
Child rates apply for all children 14 and under. Children under 4 must travel in an appropiate child/booster seat. These are complimentary and provided on request. Bookings essential.
Tour not recommended for children under 8.
